Crack Cocaine Addiction Treatment
Crack reaches the brain in seconds and fades in minutes, and that speed is exactly why it takes hold so fast. No drug carries more stigma, and no one deserves help more. Whoever you are and whatever the last few years have looked like, you will be met here with respect. Confidential outpatient care in Glendora.
Signs of crack addiction
Because the high is so short, the cycle spins fast. These are the signs it is spinning.
The binge cycle
- Using repeatedly for hours or days until everything is gone
- The crash: deep exhaustion, dark mood, heavy sleep
- Intense cravings triggered by places, people, or stress
- Each attempt to stop ending sooner than the last
In the body
- Burned fingers or lips, coughing, chest pain
- Rapid weight loss and going without sleep
- Racing heart and shortness of breath
- Paranoia or hearing things during and after use
In your life
- Money, valuables, or rent going to the drug
- Cutting off family rather than facing their questions
- Legal trouble or unsafe situations you never imagined
- Feeling like the person you were is out of reach
How we treat crack addiction
Recovery from crack means breaking a fast-spinning cycle and rebuilding a life piece by piece: health, housing stability, family trust, purpose. We treat the addiction and help you do the rebuilding, at whatever level of structure you need.
Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
Full treatment days, up to five days a week, home each night. Maximum structure to interrupt the binge cycle and get your feet under you.
Learn moreIntensive Outpatient (IOP)
Several sessions a week, day, evening, or weekend. Trigger work, craving skills, and rebuilding routine as stability returns.
Learn moreOutpatient & Aftercare
Weekly therapy and an alumni community that keeps you connected, because isolation is where the cycle restarts.
Learn moreDual Diagnosis Care
Depression, trauma, and anxiety are common companions to crack addiction. We treat them together, because pain left untreated goes looking for the pipe.
Learn moreA note on safety: crack withdrawal is emotionally brutal but rarely a medical emergency, so most people can begin outpatient treatment immediately. The drug itself is the medical danger: chest pain, seizures, or trouble breathing during or after use mean call 911 now. If the crash brings thoughts of ending your life, call or text 988 any time. Both lines are free and confidential.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else? Call us, day or night.
Is crack addiction treated differently than cocaine addiction?
Same drug chemically, very different pattern. Smoking crack hits in seconds and fades in minutes, which drives binges and faster dependence. Treatment leans harder on structure, trigger work, and rebuilding daily life. We plan for that from day one.
I have been using for years. Is it too late for me?
No. People recover from crack addiction after five, ten, twenty years of use. The brain and body heal more than most people believe, and life can be rebuilt at any age. The only requirement is starting.
Do I need detox first?
Usually not. Crack withdrawal is a hard emotional crash rather than a medical emergency, so most people begin outpatient treatment right away. If other substances are involved, especially alcohol or benzodiazepines, medically supervised detox may be needed first and we will help coordinate it.
I am ashamed to walk into a treatment center. What will it be like?
Smaller and warmer than you are picturing. A family-style setting, small groups, staff who have lived some version of your story. Nobody in our building will look down on you, and federal law (42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA) keeps your treatment private.
Can my family be involved? They have given up on me.
Often they have not given up; they are protecting themselves. Our family program gives them education and a safe structure for rebuilding contact, at a pace that is honest about the past. Repair is common. We see it every week.
Does insurance cover crack addiction treatment?
Most major PPO and HMO plans cover it. We verify your benefits for free, usually in minutes, with no obligation. We do not accept Medi-Cal at this time.
