About Us
For a Better Tomorrow, Starting Today
An accredited outpatient treatment center on historic Route 66 in Glendora, built on a simple belief: people get better when they are treated like people.
Why GRC
In this for the people, by the people
I do not want people just sober. That is not good enough for me. I want their health back, their jobs, their families, their dreams. Recovery is where it starts, not where it ends.
Our team has been where you are
Licensed, certified, and supervised by addiction specialists. The credentials matter. The part that matters at 2am is that we get it.
If you stumble, you call us
Recovery is not a straight line and nobody here pretends otherwise. No shame, no lectures. We get back to work.
days of treatment when you need all 30. Insurance approvals often run out sooner, and most programs discharge you right there. We do not. Discharge is a clinical decision.
aftercare, for life. Finish a program and come back anytime. No cost, no strings, no expiration date.
out-of-state clients. We treat our own community, and we answer to it.

Our story
Glendora Recovery Center is an outpatient treatment center for substance use and mental health, serving adults across Glendora and the San Gabriel Valley from our home on historic Route 66.
We built the center around a family-style environment on purpose. Recovery does not happen in a place that feels like an institution. It happens where you are known by name, where the coffee is on, and where the person leading your group once sat in your chair.
Our team is licensed and certified, supervised by addiction specialists, and active in the recovery community. The same faces have been here since day one; in an industry known for turnover, ours is close to zero. Our leadership came from the top ranges of healthcare, and excellence is the standard here, not the aspiration. That lived experience shapes everything: how we answer the phone, how we run groups, and why we never give up on a client.
Our mission
To deliver evidence-based clinical treatment to the highest standard of care, and then to aim past it. Sobriety is the starting line here, not the finish.
We measure success in health regained, jobs and families rebuilt, education finished, and cycles broken. We do not want you just sober. We want the person underneath to come out and go get the life they were built for. That is what "For a Better Tomorrow, Starting Today" means in practice.

Our facility
You will find us at 1340 E. Route 66 in Glendora, near Foothill Presbyterian Hospital. Suite 206 is home to our program.
Inside, it looks less like a clinic and more like a comfortable home: group rooms with natural light, quiet corners for individual sessions, and space for art and yoga therapy. We are an outpatient facility, so there are no beds and no overnight stays. You do the work here, then sleep in your own bed.
DOT Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) services
We also serve workers in DOT-regulated, safety-sensitive jobs, including commercial drivers, who need to complete the return-to-duty process after a drug or alcohol violation.
Our services include SAP assessments, treatment and education recommendations, follow-up evaluations, and coordination of return-to-duty and follow-up testing, with the documentation your employer requires. If your livelihood depends on getting this right, call us and we will walk you through the process step by step.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else? Call us, day or night.
Is Glendora Recovery Center a residential facility?
No. We are outpatient only: PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care. You get structured, serious treatment during the day or evening, and you sleep at home or in supportive housing we help arrange. No beds, no overnight stays.
Do you provide medical detox?
No, and we will never pretend otherwise. If your assessment shows you need medical detox first, we help coordinate it with a trusted facility and welcome you into our program the moment you are ready. No gap, no starting over.
Who will actually treat me?
A small team of certified drug and alcohol counselors and associate marriage and family therapists, several of whom are in recovery themselves. We provide case management and medication monitoring support, and we coordinate with outside physicians and psychiatrists when your care needs them. Meet everyone on our team page.
What does Joint Commission accreditation actually mean?
The Joint Commission is the nation's oldest and largest healthcare accreditor. Its Gold Seal means an independent body has examined our safety, clinical quality, and operations against national standards, and keeps re-examining them. You can verify our accreditation, #666556, directly with the Joint Commission.
What insurance do you accept?
Most major PPO and HMO plans. We verify your benefits for free, usually within minutes, and cash pay rates are available on request. We do not accept Medi-Cal at this time.
You do not have to do this alone.
