Your Privacy

Privacy Policy

Protecting your private information is our priority. This policy covers glendorarecoverycenter.com and Glendora Recovery Center. Last updated July 2026.

Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it: through our verify-insurance and contact forms (such as your name, phone number, email, and insurance carrier), through our website chat, or when you call, text, or email us. Our web servers also record basic technical logs needed to operate the site securely.

We do not use advertising pixels or sell ad targeting data on this website.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to you: to verify insurance benefits, answer questions, and communicate about services you have requested. If you give consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email, message and data rates may apply, consent is never a condition of treatment, and you can opt out at any time.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as secure hosting, communications, and scheduling systems), each bound by agreements that prohibit any other use of your information, or when the law requires disclosure.

Your health information: HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

As a licensed substance use disorder treatment program, our patient records are protected by HIPAA and by federal confidentiality rules at 42 CFR Part 2, which are stricter: we may not even acknowledge that someone is or was a patient without written consent, except in narrow situations the law allows.

We use health information to treat you, to run our organization, and to bill for services. We never use or share your health information for marketing, and we never sell it, without your written permission.

You have the right to: see and get a copy of your records (usually within 30 days); ask us to correct information you believe is wrong or incomplete; ask us to contact you in a specific way or at a specific address (we will honor all reasonable requests); ask us to limit what we use or share; receive a list of certain disclosures we have made; get a paper copy of our full Notice of Privacy Practices at any time; and have a legal guardian or medical power of attorney act for you.

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you can complain to us using the contact information below, or file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights, 200 Independence Avenue S.W., Washington, D.C. 20201, phone 1-877-696-6775, or online at hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/complaints. We will never retaliate against you for filing a complaint.

California privacy rights

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the "Shine the Light" law) permits California residents to request, once per year and free of charge, information about personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing. To make a request, contact us using the information below.

Minors

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before using our forms or chat.
