Kendall is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor at Glendora Recovery Center. Kendall has an AA in Substance Abuse Counseling and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s for Psychology in Addiction Studies. Kendall found her passion and purpose for counseling with her personal experiences for the past 10 years in alcoholism, treatment, and the recovery process, finding value in the challenges and barriers faced by the multi-cultural communities who suffer from alcoholism and addiction. Kendall has previously worked in multiple levels of care, including detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient and after care programs before joining the Glendora Recovery Center’s team in 2020 as an intern counselor and has become Primary Counselor for the facility. Kendall continues with her commitment to provide ethical, empathetic, and client-focused care, while maintaining a level of realism she found to be lacking in the treatment world. Kendall finds gratitude being able to witness and share in on the clients’ progress and healing in their recovery journey, finding the self-worth, confidence, and assurance in their abilities to change their lives.
