Admissions
Getting help is simpler than you think
Four steps from this moment to your first day of treatment, and we walk with you through every one. Often within the same day.
Step 1: Reach out, 24/7
It starts with a call to (626) 594-0881, a chat message, or a callback request. Day or night, a real person answers, and every conversation is confidential.
You do not need to know which program you need, or even be sure you need treatment at all. Tell us what is going on. We will listen without judgment and tell you honestly what we think, even if the answer is not us.
Step 2: Verify your insurance
We check your benefits with your insurance company at no cost, usually within minutes. You will know what your plan covers and what, if anything, you would owe, before you commit to a thing.
We work with most major PPO and HMO plans. We do not accept Medi-Cal at this time, and cash pay options are available.

Who are you here for?
A few quick taps, completely confidential. Answer right here on the page.
Step 3: A private clinical assessment
Next comes a confidential conversation with a clinician about your health, your history with substances, your mental health, and what daily life looks like right now. It usually takes under an hour.
This is not a test you can fail. It is how we choose the right level of care, PHP, IOP, or outpatient, and start building a plan that fits your actual life. If you need medical detox first, we will say so plainly and help coordinate it with a trusted facility, then welcome you here when you are ready.
Step 4: Start treatment
We schedule your admission, often for the same day you call. You arrive, you are greeted by name, you meet your therapist and care team, and you begin. Your tomorrow starts now, not after a waitlist.
Same-day admission, because timing matters
Windows of willingness open and close fast. When someone is finally ready for help, making them wait a week can cost the moment. That is why we keep same-day admission available whenever possible.
Call in the morning and, if the assessment supports it, you can be in treatment that afternoon. Coming from a detox or inpatient facility? We coordinate the handoff so there is no gap in your care.
What to bring on your first day
- A photo ID and your insurance card
- A list of your current medications and dosages
- Contact information for any doctors or providers you want us to coordinate with
- Your court paperwork, if your treatment involves a court requirement
- Comfortable clothes. This is treatment, not a dress code.
- Your questions, written down. Ask every single one.
What your first day looks like
You will be welcomed by name, not handed a clipboard through a window. After a short check-in and any remaining paperwork, you meet your primary therapist, get a tour of the center, and receive your schedule.
Most first days include your first group session, where you will hear the word "welcome" more times than you expect. By the time you head home, you will know your plan, your people, and exactly what tomorrow looks like.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most. Anything else? Call us, day or night.
How long does the admissions process take?
Usually hours, not days. The call, the free insurance verification, and the clinical assessment can all happen the same day, and same-day admission is often available. If you call in the morning, starting treatment that afternoon is a realistic goal.
What if I am not sure I am ready?
Call anyway. There is no pressure and no obligation on the phone, just honest information about your options. Many people call two or three times before they start. We would rather you keep calling than face it alone.
Can I keep working or going to school during treatment?
In most cases, yes. IOP offers day, evening, and weekend schedules built for work, school, and family life, and outpatient is lighter still. PHP runs during the day, so we plan around it together.
What will treatment cost me?
It depends on your insurance plan, which is why verification comes before commitment. Most major PPO and HMO plans cover treatment. We check your benefits for free, tell you plainly what is covered and what is not, and cash pay rates are available on request. We do not accept Medi-Cal at this time.
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
No referral needed. You can call us directly, and we handle everything from there, including coordinating with your existing doctor or therapist if you would like us to.
Can I start this process for someone I love?
Yes, and many people do. Call us and we will help you understand the options, plan the conversation, and prepare for the moment they say yes. We cannot force an adult into treatment, but we can make the path so clear and so ready that saying yes gets easier.
You do not have to do this alone.
Reach out today. Every call is confidential, and there is no pressure, just help.
