An associate marriage and family therapist and certified addictions treatment counselor, received his masters degree from Pacific Oaks college in Pasadena, California has been working in the field addiction nearly a decade. Working in all levels of treatment has given Dean a Birdseye view of addiction and recovery process. Bringing his own experience of recovery is what fuels his passion for the field. Dean has formed his own style which incorporates a client centered approach that is meant to be inclusive of clients attitudes and beliefs while taking some elements of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy and challenging their thoughts in a non-confrontational manner. The success in his work with clients from many populations is what caught the eye of Glendora recovery center and we are excited to have him join us as the newest member of the team.
